Body Shape Changes

Will body fat redistribution revert if I stop T?
Yes, slowly your fat will redistribute to its original locations and your body will look a lot like it did pre-T (obviously depending on ageing and weight gain/loss).
-
Body fat redistribution is typically one of the later changes people experience, often not really becoming noticeable for 1-2 years
-
However, this change can continue for 2-3 years, or even longer for some people
-
One of the most noticeable changes is likely to be your waist, which will slowly get squarer.
-
It might not ever be completely straight and square*, but it will be a lot closer *(and neither are lots of cis mens!)
-
-
You are also likely to lose fat from your thighs and butt
-
You chest will likely lose fat, which will in turn may make it marginally smaller
-
You are likely to begin to carry more of your weight in your stomach

Fat Redistribution

-
Testosterone greatly increases your ability to build muscle, and how soon you notice this effect is likely to depend on how much you exercise, but even those of us who do not exercise are likely to start noticing changes around 6 months.
-
This spontaneous muscle growth will likely continue for around 2-3 years if you don’t exercise, and testosterone will continue increasing how much muscle you gain from exercise for as long as you are on T.
-
You may well notice your shoulders looking wider and your traps becoming more prominent, as well as the muscles in your arms and legs, depending on your lifestyle.
